Prof Hong ginseng chicken soup Korean shop…again!!

   If you’ve read my previous post, you’d have noticed that I’ve nothing but praise for this shop… I mean, the food is unbelievably good, the service is unbelievably fast, the price is reasonable and the owner there is unbelievably nice so, if I don’t go for it again since I’m back in KL would be…. UNBELIEVABLE right?? Hehehe… Also the fact that the owner always says I’m pretty and gives us extra food…. Lol….. Do do do do do go check it out ppl if you’re in Ampang Korean village… I’m like the unofficial food ambassador around….

      Suddenly remembering that the last time we went, my dad had to skip watching a football match (without supporting his team) in order to eat with us and this time, it happened again… Haha… I have this ability to choose when to eat whenever his favourite team is playing… Who by the way, lost again this time…. So yes, I spared him the heartache…. again….. Hahahaha….

       Oh, there’s a fun fair around my place since just last week!! yay!! I’ve never been to one since ages ago and we didn’t go to the one in SP after our movie night for Real Steel (which is an awesome show!!!) so I’m so excited!!  And found the place so stuffy and full of ppl smoking cigarettes I might as well stand behind a lorry exhaust pipe… Sheesh… Such a disappointment… And boy, aren’t the tokens getting expensive!! It costs RM4 to get on any ride or play any booth games!! Total cutthroats!! Ended up not doing anything but went one round sucking in smokes… and sweat… EWWWW….. Hahaha…. Oh well, at least I can say, I went to a fun fair recently… Kekeke…

There’s so many things to thank God for just at the top of my head I’m bursting with gratefulness!! This week has been nothing but good…. Thank you x100000000!!! I’m sure all things will go well this year, it’s so exciting!!
So do let us not miss Your wave!! It’s gonna be worse than missing one’s own wedding…. *Which I hope I won’t… Better plan mine in the evening in case I overslept.. Lol…*

On another note, sigh, I should have should have should have… I’m missing by one…. What should I do to collect it?? Hmm…

Deviled eggs

      After my successful try on oatmeal chocolate and butterscotch soft cookies last time, I’ve had my try on deviled eggs this time…. It’s really easy actually, get hard boiled eggs, pepper, bacon, ham, mixed herbs, paprika powder, and mayonnaise and you’re done!! The recipe is very easy and the ingredients?? Optional… You can make do with just mayo and eggs I guess.. Only, the taste would be…. Egg salad only like…. Lol…. Oh wells, I think I do have a bit of a talent in cooking!! Haha… Think I did inherit some awesome traits from my Super-Wonder-mum!!!!! *wink wink* (mummy, if you do read this, you ARE terrific!!! Hehe….)

     I made two plates of these and it was literally gone in minutes!! So proud… And yes, looks doesn’t matter, taste does alrights?? Hahaha… Ok ok, fine, both are important but I didn’t get to chill them enough… So yes!! I forgot to mention, chill them hours before bringing it to parties!!!! REMEMBER!! Freeze them if you have to!!!! Lol….

PS With me having flu and cough, I’m thankful I didn’t poison anyone with too much spices since the sprinkle of paprika and herbs is well, a sprinkle of my hands here and a sprinkle there and well, more sprinkles here and there…. Lol…..

Itchy hands off!!

Hahaha… No lar!!! It’s just that in dealing with Airasia, my itchy fingers took life on their own and cost me some loss in money and time, much gain in frustration, anger and even…. hatred… Yup ppl, but no worries, I’ve unlashed my bottled up emotion and vent it to poor unsuspecting innocent Rachel… Lol… Sorry…. *Who’s not poor…or innocent though… Hahaha… We’ve attained enlightenment in being indifferent after all* But all’s well now so I’m back to normal…….-ish….. Hehe….

And dear milky SX, if you’re reading this now….*SX kicks, punches and lashes out at being called just that* haha… Let’s test this out!!! You start your journey to the north-south while I’ll travel east-west and THEN let’s see whether we’ll finally meet at some intersection point alright?? Our miraculous parallelism must should be experimented!!! Our timing –the lack of it- must be kinda, somehow rare….. Lol….

Last year, fifth gear!!

     Can’t believe it’ll be my last year as a dental student… I still remember those memories from 5 years ago and here I am, 5 years later… looking exactly the same… Hehehe… (I highly doubt it….As a bonus, enclosed photos below!! )

     Just came back SP for a few days and gonna go back KL again in a week plus for the Raya holiday… Am already missing KL and its food… *drools* Sad that I can’t go Jogoya though but then hey, I can always go there again next time right?? RIGHT?? RIGHT???!!!! Haha…. There’d better be patients for my clinics next week or else… “Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned” *Thunder rumbles at the background* Hehehe…. Oh wells, just a short update since I’m lazy and wanna go back to my dramas now so… Adios!!

Trip to Prof Hong Ginseng Chicken Soup Restaurant-Ampang

So yes, if you’ve been following my blog, you’d know that my last post was on one spring chicken… *Lol* Well, my family and I went there on Saturday night to try out the place.. Since I’m such a Korean crazed fan, you’d better trust my judgement on all things Korean… from a local Malaysian standpoint of course… =p

     My dad was kinda reluctant to go at 1st since he wanted to watch Malaysia-Singapore fight it out on the football field but then, anything for his daughter right?? *Aww…..* Btw, I’ve managed to reserve a place using Korean without stammering, a great feat huh?? Hahaha… But I got caught anyways since the boss’ wife went out to see me coz I can speak Korean so well… *Sigh, busted…* But she gave us 2 Kimchi fried rice for free since I’m very pretty!!! Woohoo!!!! Hey, her words, not mine…. *So happy I can fly off* But almost every other Korean either says I have “Korean features” or else I’m pretty… Therefore, I conclude that Koreans have an affinity for my face!!!! Hahahahaha…. Ok, ok, lame but I guess they like my baby face… ( According to my younger sister’s friend… Imagine hearing that from someone younger by 10 years…. =.=” ) Oh wells, at least they didn’t say anything negative so…

   About the food, I AM so IN LOVE with this place!!!! Everything was so to my taste I can’t believe it!! The ginseng chicken soup would be bland to others but since I’m such an advocate for healthy food if it’s a choice so, OH YEAH, this place is !!! Other than the octopus stew noodle which was not my thing, all others were so nice I can’t say anything bad about them… Usually, we would be on our 2nd round of side-dishes before our main dishes come out but this place was so fast we haven’t even tasted the kimchi and the main food came steaming out, literally!! And the waiters?? Friendly and customer conscious… Totally make you feel at ease and so quick on their feet you need not ask them for anything…. It’s like they were trained so perfectly they can read minds… Lol….

    Conclusion is, I’m gonna come back here again and again!!!! Honestly, do give it a try, it’s my newest favourite Korean place right now!! 2nd would be Zen which is also nearby…. Do ask me about more information k?? I’d be glad to share!!!!

NOT!!!!!! Hahaha…. Though I’m sure many of you thought and maybe hoped for it to be true, but nah…. What I’ve fallen on is the bandwagon of online shopping…. Before this, I’m nothing but against online shopping, banking, etc coz it’s not safe, information is easily leaked, website could be hacked, lots of spams online etc… Till I found…..

It's for this online coupon deal thingy…… I can’t believe it too… Like :”WHAT???!!!!” right? Hahaha….. I’ve been tempted by so many previous things before like clothings, accessories, contact lenses, shoes but I’ve managed to resist them all….. And in the end, I’ve lost to a spring chicken…. *ROFL* Oh wells, this better be one heck of a swell chicken soup!!!!

Lol… And then you see Rachel and I combo…. You’d be flying to see your Maker soon….  Hahaha…. Jokes aside, I know I need to gear up yet I can’t seem to start my engine powerfully…. Someone, please fill me up with some much needed oil please?? Hehehe…
