Yeah yeah, that’s a cheesy tagline stolen from G.I Joe but it holds true to me… No matter what happens in life, the good, the bad, and.. the very very bad, I know I could always fall back on the one thing that never change.. Sigh.. Am in a low pit in life right now where nothing seems to be right and everything seems to be so wrong.. I need more love and attention, ppl!! Lol... (hmm, shouldn’t laugh there…) I want the time to turn back, I want my mistakes wiped off, I want, I want, I want… In the end, it doesn’t really matter, it’s still all about me huh?? Sighs again… 2009 was a bad year for me and 2010 is not looking that great right now.. Hopefully it’ll turn out to be wonderful soon…
On another irrelevant note, a life of sacrificial love and not convenience… That’s how I wanna live my life these days.. It’s gonna be a tough ride uphill but that’s the way I want it should live…. So yup.. May all of you have a great year ahead too ok?? God bless!!

Happy CNY peeps!!!
Heya everyone!! How did you celebrate CNY this year?? Mine went by just like that….I mean, in conjunction with the previous post, I could only say…I’m so old!! When did I stop feeling all excited for CNY?? Instead, I’m going online on the 2nd day of CNY for almost the whole day… Man, that sounds pathetic… All my cousins are either married, working or studying somewhere far and won’t be back for CNY or they just simply lost interest in gatherings… ARGH…. Totally nostalgic right now… Miss the time we run around trees and jump into ravines and cook leaves and flowers acting like we were preparing a royal feast… Haha… Just kidding, I didn’t do that when I’m young, and no, I don’t do that now either… Sheesh… =p
And oh, btw, my whole family and I are crazy about this Korean series called “Queen Seon Duk”… My dad watched it with us till 2.30am and said it’s still early and to continue on with the show… Lol.. My dad is such a cutie, physically and literally!! So yup, leave me a comment on your celebration!! You know I know what you did last CNY!! Hehe….

Worn out
I’m old… Or at least not as young as I used to be.. (like duh you may say, but still…) Here’s what happened after my exams…
1. I sprained my ankle for no reason whatsoever.. No vigilant active sports from a strong and energetic me, no almost-tripping-and-falling from a clumsy yet cute young girl, no skipping along a rough terrain from an eager to try out new experiences/ road-curious girl.. I just sprained it.. Full stop.. Not during walking, not during running, but during sitting.. During just SITTING I said.. Should I cry or what?? lol…
2. I’m tired. Not just physically but mentally and emotionally.. Nothing these days evoke much emotions from me.. Be it exams or holidays or religious spats in our peaceful nation or just plain daily routine.. I’m tired.. I don’t have the energy to fight nor speak out anymore.. Learnt my lesson the hard way?? Maybe.. Gained sudden wisdom?? Hmm, probably.. Lost the spark and energy? Most likely.. But lose hope and faith?? To that I’ll say never, never and still never.. (Hence Gerv, I’m equivalent to no expression now..)
3. I give up on reading the newspaper.. The headlines, yes.. The world news, yes.. The state of our country and the rising crime numbers?? That’s where I’ve given up.. I mean, it’s bad enough just as it is without me reading them and feed more emotions into the current situation.. Hence, I’ve given up on reading them anymore.. The only thing I would do is to pray for the nation, it won’t help one single eensy, weensy, tiny little bit to be agitated nor to start supporting groups.. I stand for peace. That’s all. To fight to get peace? I think that’s just plain silly.. So, sorry people if I do not understand the need to be in groups on Facebook declaring support for whatever reason or group cause to me, it still does not help one bit..
Hence, I’ve devoted myself to drama, game and variety what-not shows.. Be it Korean, English or Chinese, I’d feed my brain silly with them.. Total tv/computer addict now.. One day without some sorta show input makes me have withdrawal symptoms so… Ciaoz!! *Runs off to watch more Korean show* lol!

Quick update-Love the jungle!
Had a one week holiday last week for Christmas and new year.. Celebrated Christmas with a scrumptious hotel meal, got a new PSP Go, then went to a camp with flying fox, abseiling, repelling and jungle trekking lined up in its activity… Got some bruises and all but luckily no leech marks unlike some others... Totally enjoyed my week!! Had no regrets having that much fun.. The price to pay for it now?? What’s in my face would be an exam coming up soon in a week and a half and I’m supposed to finish studying everything since the past four months in the remaining time.. Can I do it?? Probably.. Will it be sufficient to pass?? Well, that depends… Lol… While some eat, sleep and drink books & notes since the holiday, I’m STILL wasting time here reminiscing about the fun times I had last week on holiday.. sheesh.. Hehe… Anyhow, 2010 started off in an awesome way for me for now.. How was your start of the year, ppl??
PS Will update with pictures of a worn-out, unkempt me during the camp and other miscellaneous photos in say a month’s time.. Till then, ciaoz!!

A Black Tie Affair
That’s what set the night yesterday at Equatorial Hotel, Penang for AIMST’s annual dental dinner. Other than the fact everyone looked awesome(It’s true judging on the glances hotel lodgers stole at us when anyone of us dental babes and hunks walked past), it was a really fun night to remember as our 5th years super seniors will be leaving us for the work force real soon.. Sigh, feel so sad already.. Lol.. Anyways, without further ado, let’s take a look at some pictures for the night!! Which features only me as well, I didn’t bring my camera along and used only my trustworthy handphone.. Luckily it was 5MP at least…
Full length pic of me.. And no, the bag on my right hand is NOT my dinner bag. It was from our sponsors…
Qi Shan and me goofying around before the dinner starts…

Change of look-for my blog I mean
Heya ppl!! Long time no see huh?? And then suddenly *poof* I’m meeting you with a new look through my blog.. I dunno why but I find it somewhat funny.. Hehe… Anyway, though I like this new layout for my blog, I’d admit that it was real hard for me setting up everything again from scratch.. Okay, not really from point zero coz I stole the layout from somewhere but still.. The sidebar stuff, changing previous posts’ display, colours and all… You’ll have to give me some credit since I’m bad with all these.. (Oh, and thanks LT for the cached link thingy.. I’m THAT bad with computer stuffs that I have no idea whatsoever to what it was and how you did it so… Lol..) Anyhow, everyone, please leave me a line sometime if you’re reading this.. I’m itching to hear updates from you all…=p Ciao for now!!

Deepavali weekend+funny scare
Spent the Deepavali holiday here in Kedah instead of back home in KL this year… Why you ask?? Coz I thought that my external hard disk was spoilt and wanted to get a new one at the PC Fair here at Village Mall… Turned out, God was so awesome that He healed an inanimate object for me… LOL!!! It’s totally cured just like that though one computer dude said it was beyond the point of no repair.. (Dunno whether that guy was totally inefficient or I sighted a plain miracle at work, lol…) But my parents were like “Whether miracle or otherwise, you could have gotten a new one from Low Yat Plaza here you know??” Well, that’s true but I wanted to stay here to strengthen myself… In a setting filled with family love and unconditional care, one wouldn’t grow strong.. And in a situation like the one I’m having now (to those who knows), I need to be tougher, to be able to face certain stuffs alone… But I sincerely thank my family so much for all that they did and I’m sure will continue doing, I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Plus the many true friends I can trust after sieving through my pile of friends-- Thank you!! So, there you have it, my somewhat logical explanation on why I’m not back home…
Anyway, because of that, I experienced a REALLY funny incident yesterday.. TNB had to do some maintanence work yesterday to upgrade our campus’ electrical supply so we were to literally live in the dark from 10am-10pm… Since they cut off the supply at 9.30am, my roommate and I plus Claud next door went out for lunch to escape the heat.. Then we headed off to Village Mall to do some shopping, which we couldn’t do much due to the lack of shops and even tea-time at Secret Recipe, we had to go home at 5.30pm, assuming that the electricity would be back by then… Well, the whole place was still dark til 7pm… Cut the story short, we decided to go out again for dinner and to buy candles in case we’ll be left in the dark for long…. As we were walking down the stairs, the fire alarm suddenly went off and was shrieking as loud as it could.. Since the place was desolate, the neverending alarm was quite scary.. As we proceeded to my car equipped with torchlights in our hands, lo and behold, we saw two huge red trucks in the carpark easing in our hostel… With the fire alarm blazing its head off, one would think those were the fire trucks right?? So, I got freaked out when I drove out and called my dad.. Daddy thinks I should give a call to the TNB hotline to find out what happened so well, here goes…
TNB staff: What is the problem, miss?
Me: Well, our university is still dark now after 12 hours.. When will the electricity be back on?
TNB staff: You mean your university has no electricity?
Me: Yes, the whole campus.
TNB staff: Well, sorry but we are not responsible for power failure inside a university. You would have to call a wireman.
Me: No!! I meant it was a TNB upgrading project that caused the breakdown.
TNB staff: Yes, I understand but like I said, we are not responsible for the electrical malfunction inside a university.
Me: But this is due to your project!!
TNB staff: Yes, but we are not responsible for it. Better call a wireman, miss.
Me: .. You don’t understand!! …..But… *exasperated* Fine, never mind, then can I know what happened that there’s fire trucks parked in our parking lots then?
TNB staff: In your campus?
Me: Yes, in my campus.
TNB staff: Well, you’d have to call a wireman to find out.
Me: WHAT?? A wireman is responsible for fire trucks now?
TNB staff: Yes, we are not responsible. Better call a wireman, miss.
Me: Call a wireman to see why are there fire trucks in my campus, after the electrical breakdown, which was due to a TNB upgrading project?
TNB staff: Yes, call a wireman, miss. We are not responsible to electrical breakdown inside a university campus.
Me: ……………..*speechless* Yeah well, thanks for your help, k?
*Clicks*
Me thinking.. ‘or no help at all… And… what is a wireman in the first place???!!!”
Totally bizarre irrelevant conversation between two confused souls, lol…
In the end, we found out that the two blazing red hot trucks were the generator trucks that were called in to temporarily supply electricity until TNB were done with their work. Which was 1am coz the power got cut for 10 minutes again and we happily lit up the newly bought candles for well, 10 minutes… Lol… I’m so glad I didn’t make a big fuss about the “fire trucks”.. Imagine me going, “I DON’T CARE!! GET YOUR BOSS ON THE LINE TO EXPLAIN TO ME WHY THE HECK IS THERE FIRE TRUCK INVOLVED IN A BLACKOUT SITUATION RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” And that the person really did call the fire department to see whether trucks are sent into our campus.. That, my friends, would be totally EMBARRASSING to say the least!!! Hahahahahahaha…. All in all, I had a fun weekend… Spent a lot but learnt a lot too… Till next time, adieu!!
